Indulgence over the weekend...

Well, i spent a bomb this weekend. However, i need to declare i didn't do it on impulse. It was after careful consideration and some months of contemplation and research .... haha .... so much so an excuse for my huge expenditure!

The first item is none other than the Samsung Ultra 13.8, its sleek and cool. Well, i really needed a break from the O2 atom i was using. You know each and every time i trade in a phone, i always feel that i can't bear to part with my phone. On the contrary, i didn't feel a thing in letting go my O2 atom despite spending a thousand on it and using if for a mere one year. It gave me lots of inconvenience, i guess the PDA is just not for me. My advice? - Don't get a PDA phone unless you are sure you are comfortable using it, otherwise, the depreciation value is a surekill!

Next, i signed up for a facial package at Bella Skincare. Its time i need one! Think the last time i went for facial was like 4 years ago? I'm really phobic from the pain during the extraction phase. My skin's so bad these days.....felt that i need to pluck up the courage to go! Indeed, Fann Wong's flawless skin is an inspiration to me now......

Singapore Business Awards 2007

How time flies! Its the glamourous SBA event again. This time i wasn't as carefree as last year becos i was put in charge of the event about 1 month before. Lots of catching up to do for the event organisation and then it was down to getting the event happening! Work was kinda stressful given the tight time frame but i'm honoured to be working on it. I really enjoyed the work.

I didn't have much time to shop for the gown or accessories. Just got something together at the last minute shopping. Found out later that Elena almost got the exact same gown as me but thanks to the lady at Celia Loe who realised and informed her before she bought the gown. We were both impressed by the wonderful service by that lady...she even delivered the gown to me at Ritz Carlton cos i had last min alteration. Here's a picture of me and Elena, she still looks good in this Arthur Yen gown anyway :)

The night was indeed like another company D&D....had fun taking lots of pictures (of course after all official duties was over!). Was so glad i engaged a pretty good make up artist, a risk i had to take considering the bad experience last year.....my colleagues who were served by the same artist and her hairstylist partner were equally satisfied :) Thank God!

It helped that the event was on a Friday, so no work the next day and 3 of us stayed in the luxurious room at the Ritz Carlton! Hmmm, but we had drinks with the rest of the sales colleagues till almost 4am, we didn't have much time to rest in the room either. Anyway, i was glad i joined in cos i learnt many new card games and had lotsa fun!

Delayed entry - Feb 07 Happenings!

Well Well....this year's CNY, lots of visitation, had pretty much quality time with my family, helped my sis to babysit quite a bit...really packed few days that i didn't take many pictures...here is one with my Princess Claire....she is so cute...she smiles when we tell her she's so pretty and her dress is so nice etc...and she's so chubby...so nice to hug :)

We celebrate Grandpa's bdae every 3rd day of the lunar month, so here's a picture of Grandpa with all the grandchildren and Great grandchildren! ....and Sparky as well :)

Dear and I celebrated our 18mths anniversary in Feb as well. No splurging on gifts and dinner. We had a simple and cosy meal at Magic Wok, food was great :) Its the simplicity of having a nice meal together that makes us happy and I'm glad we have come this far :)

As we finish the meal, we decided to go for a walk near esplanade to digest the hearty meal. On our way there, we actually caught the fireworks! It was an awesome view and Dear joked that he planned it all....haha....afterwhich we visited the River Hong Bao since it was just on the way....

Feb was also the month that Baby Nixon turned one! How time flies....Kai Sern and Sumin had a chalet party but as Dear had classes that day, we arrived pretty late and all we took was this picture of ourselves with the party balloons cos most of the guests left and the birthday boy was asleep....haha!
