Chinese New Year!

Yes! I'm back to blogging. My internet connection at new home is finally up and i feel like i've just been released from exile. Work has been really busy but i'm glad i had the CNY break to rest and also to catch up with relatives. We are also close to completion in unpacking at home .... Praise the Lord!

Annika, my other best friend came to my new place. So sweet of her. She wore red and had red lipstick and also brought the mandarin oranges. Really immersed into the chinese culture :). Was very happy to catch up with her and show her my new house but was upset cos she broke news that she is going to Germany for good....oh my....when will i have enough money to go to Europe again and spend some time there to visit her and go sightseeing together! Dream Dream Dream .... hopefully it will become a reality soon!

On 3rd day CNY, dear came to my place. Wasn't expecting that. I was really touched he made the effort to come that day, ahead of what he planned. I knew he really made the effort to come that day. So ... that was the day i started taking pics again! becos i was overjoyed .... sigh but think i either put on weight since CNY or the attire didnt make me look gd, i thought i look so fat in the pics....

Every year, the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year is also my Ah Gong's bdae. We celebrated at Crystal Jade and everyone was just so amused by my 2 cute nephews:

On Sat my cell gp came to my new house. We had cg at my place and also lao yu sheng. It was refreshing since i haven't gone to church for the last 2 weeks and cg had not been held at my place for some time. Kind of miss it.

Went to service after that. Delirious? from UK came and we had almost like a rock concert over service. It was really fun and the atmosphere was really good. Felt very charged up after going to church.



Sat also happened to be the 7th day of the Lunar New Year, so i went to River Ang Pao with Dear. Haven't gone there for years and it was refreshing to go again esp when it coincide with chingay and i saw the floats. Also saw fireworks! it was beautiful.





The next day, i went to dear's house. We are obsessed with picture taking. Look at this taken at the bustop. I love the pic, except that guy had to walk past!!!



We watched a crappy movie thereafter - Walk the Line....thanks to my mischeviousness.....haha!

Its back to work again?!?
