Singapore Business Awards 2007

How time flies! Its the glamourous SBA event again. This time i wasn't as carefree as last year becos i was put in charge of the event about 1 month before. Lots of catching up to do for the event organisation and then it was down to getting the event happening! Work was kinda stressful given the tight time frame but i'm honoured to be working on it. I really enjoyed the work.

I didn't have much time to shop for the gown or accessories. Just got something together at the last minute shopping. Found out later that Elena almost got the exact same gown as me but thanks to the lady at Celia Loe who realised and informed her before she bought the gown. We were both impressed by the wonderful service by that lady...she even delivered the gown to me at Ritz Carlton cos i had last min alteration. The night was indeed like another company D&D....had fun taking lots of pictures (of course after all official duties was over!). Was so glad i engaged a pretty good make up artist, a risk i had to take considering the bad experience last year.....my colleagues who were served by the same artist and her hairstylist partner were equally satisfied :) Thank God!

It helped that the event was on a Friday, so no work the next day and 3 of us stayed in the luxurious room at the Ritz Carlton! Hmmm, but we had drinks with the rest of the sales colleagues till almost 4am, we didn't have much time to rest in the room either. Anyway, i was glad i joined in cos i learnt many new card games and had lotsa fun!
