The New Year & My Best Friend's Wedding
Just realised this is my first entry for the new year. For those loyal and frequent readers of my blog, i do apologise for not writing any earlier. I have been really really busy since the start of year....
Before i get to the main topic, i just have to tell everyone that i started on the new job straight after the end of the previous, with just a weekend's break. I thank God for this new job...its really a dream job for me. It's been so good so far...my bosses are very easygoing and friendly people and my colleagues are nice and really do make an effort to include me in the group socially. Work wise has been really challenging right from the first day. I must say this is a job that gives me lots of exposure I thank God for that.
Well...since the year started, i've not only been busy settling on to my new job...but also with helping out in my best friend, Tabitha's wedding...I must say i didn't even worked so hard for my own sister's wedding! It was really great meeting up with long lost sec sch frens - Jeanette, May San and Michelle since 2 mths back and planning together for Tabitha's wedding. I think we really got close once again working on this wedding together. Though we may be all inexperienced, i'm sure after this, we will all be a lot more experienced with our own wedding plans...haha!
The wedding was on last Sunday. Though it rained the whole day...it did not spoil our joyous mood. We gals arrived early at 7am at Tabitha's house...and prepared the lovely concoction for the guys.

Overall, we had a wonderful time saboing the groom and his buddies. They sang, danced, did one-hand-push ups and even had to guess from a series of bras which are the bride's. Kudos to these guys...they are really very sporting....making our jobs not only easier but a lot more fun! The brothers are also very gentlemanly...carried things for us, sheltered us from the rain and drove us around...

Tabitha looked especially gorgeous that day...i felt really happy for her to find a good husband and to be happily married. I'm really honoured and glad to be part of the wedding party and doing my part for her wedding....helping out in the day's events and the dinner....its more than just a successful event accomplished...its really touching to see your best friend happily walking down the aisle with the man of her life...cheers to your happily after, Tabi and Chris!

So anyway now that the wedding is over...i'm off to my next mission - to pack!!! I am moving on 22 Jan to my new house and i only started packing a little last night...imagine 10 years of trash in my room....going to take me some time...promise to write soon....

Well,june..it was certainly a lovely blog to read,with the interesting details and song.I didn't expect me to help out so much at the newly wed "Tans" too. We were actually expecting worse things, but I must say the sister gang were very kind to us already. thank you to the sisters.haha,the drink was certainly burning. Glad to have met the bubbly you (too bad, it wasn't earlier..haha) and
all the best for your new job and have a good house moving. Will look forward to reading your blogs.
